Word of these cards spread, as they were exchanged at CB get-togethers, via the mail, or anytime and anywhere a CBer made contact with an another operator hundreds of miles away... "Shooting skip" it was called, back then. (Nice little sideline business I racked up, huh?) Oh, yeah -- my main CB handle? Officer Jaws -- a character of mine who's made several appearances in different comic strips I've drawn over the years. As a tribute to the quieter, simpler times... long before "road rage" and cell phones were the norm for EVEN TRUCKERS! -- it seems only fitting that these cards' "final-20" is on a page on this website. ;-) Uh, my QSL card?
